Floor pan is solid and shows no evidence of patching. Stepside pickups are the two-doors of the car world, if that makes any sense at all. You would be hard pressed to find more than a couple of stone chips. Instrument bezel is brand new. Dual exhaust from the headers back is all brand new. It has a good size cam in the motor and sounds strong. Brand new quick ratio steering gear.
The gaps are all nice and nothing is rubbing or mismatched. As you can see it has been lowered and looks really nice. Paint is a 9 out of 10 with only minor touchups or flaws. I have a clear Arkansas title. This was a running and driving truck when I purchased but had been setting in garage and not drove very much. This is an excellent running and driving pickup.
We have taken the time and spent the money to turn the classic truck from a garage queen to a daily driver hot rod!! The truck has been together for a few years and it isn't perfect. We have to guess what both the interior and engine look like on this one. Around here, a 67-72 truck with a fleet side bed will bring 2 grand more than the same truck with a step bed. The truck has power steering and disc brakes in the front. All new ball joints, tie rods and bushings installed. Under the hood, the original 350 was replaced with a 1988 Chevy 350 engine. Dash and ceiling were painted black. The chrome front and rear bumpers were rechromed with zero pitting. Most of the brake lines have been replaced with stainless steel. New idler pulley assembly and newer serpentine belt. Much of the truck is either brand new or refreshed. We history had to pay over 1000.
